Overview

Most Fibonacci tools make you re-anchor by hand every time the swing changes. Golden Ratio Radar anchors itself to the current confirmed swing and re-anchors when a new one forms, so the levels on your chart always belong to the move you are actually trading.

Levels from the active swing and from the higher-timeframe swing are drawn together. Where they land close to each other the overlap is scored and shaded — that confluence score is what most traders end up using rather than any single level. A small reaction log records how price behaved at each level over the visible history, so you can see whether this instrument respects the 0.618 or tends to run to the 0.786.

Built with gold in mind, and the gold preset is the default, but the level logic is instrument-agnostic.

How it works

  1. 01

    Anchor automatically

The tool finds the current confirmed swing and anchors the retracement to it.

  2. 02

    Layer the timeframes

Higher-timeframe levels are drawn alongside so confluence is visible at a glance.

  3. 03

    Score the overlap

Where levels cluster, the band is shaded and given a confluence score.

Signal behaviour

Every TradingVAI product states plainly how it behaves as new bars arrive. This one is classified as confirmation based.

How this tool behaves on the chart

Confirmation required

Signals are evaluated on the live bar and only become final when that bar closes. A signal can appear and then withdraw before the close.

The Fibonacci anchor is set from a swing that is only confirmed once the swing point is established, which takes a defined number of bars. While that confirmation is pending the levels can shift. Once the swing is confirmed the levels are fixed for that swing and do not move again. Reaction markers are evaluated on the live bar and finalise at the close.

Questions

How does it choose the swing?

It takes the most recent swing high and low that have both been confirmed by the configured number of bars. You can override the lookback, and you can lock the anchor manually if you want it to stay on a specific move.

What does the confluence score mean?

It counts how many levels from different swings and timeframes fall within the tolerance band, weighted by timeframe. A higher score means more independent levels agree on that price. It is a measure of agreement, not of probability.

Does the reaction log tell me the win rate?

No. It records what price did at each level in the visible history — whether it reacted, wicked through, or ignored the level. It is descriptive, not a performance statistic, and it makes no claim about future behaviour.
