Most questions are about installation or licences, and both are answered below. If yours is not, we answer email properly.
Common questions
I bought a TradingView product. Where is the download?
There is not one, and that is normal. TradingView invite-only scripts are granted to your account rather than distributed as files. Add your TradingView username in your library and access is applied to your account — the script then appears under Indicators → Invite-only scripts.
I applied the MetaTrader template and nothing appeared.
Almost always missing history. Scroll left on the chart to load more bars, then give the higher-timeframe reads a moment to populate. If it still does not draw, open the Experts and Journal tabs — any load error appears there, and it tells us exactly what went wrong.
What do you need to activate a MetaTrader licence?
Your account number and broker server name only. We never ask for your trading password or investor password. No TradingVAI page or email will ever request one — if something claims to be us and asks, it is not us.
Can I use a product on more than one account?
Each licence allows a set number of activations, shown in your library. You can release an activation yourself to free a seat for a different account.
Does anything repaint?
Some products do, and every product page says so explicitly at the top. Structure, ZigZag and wave tools recalculate by nature; momentum and trend tools generally do not. The behaviour classification is on the card, on the product page, and in the FAQ of each product.
Do these place trades?
No. Nothing in the catalogue places trades, connects to your broker for execution, or manages positions. They are visual decision-support tools — every entry and exit decision is yours.
How do updates work?
Updates within your major version are included. Your library shows when one is available, and downloads always give you the current released files.
